9:30 AM: Morning Hike
For morning hikes you can choose between two excellent trails:
Option 1: Earthquake Trail
Overview: A short, easy loop of 0.6 miles (1 km) showcasing the San Andreas Fault zone with informative signage. The trail is mostly flat, making it a great option for anyone looking for a short hike.
Difficulty: Easy
Time Duration: 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Option 2: Chimney Rock Trail
Overview: A moderate 1.75-mile (2.8 km) round trip offers spectacular coast views and springtime wildflowers. The trail leads to Chimney Rock, a rocky outcrop providing an excellent vantage point for whale watching (during migration season).
Difficulty: Moderate
Time Duration: 1.5 to 2 hours
Pro Tip: Wear sturdy hiking boots and bring layers; coastal weather can be unpredictable.

1:30 PM: Visit Point Reyes Lighthouse
Location: 27000 Sir Francis Drake Blvd, Inverness, CA
Direction: 30-minute drive from Saltwater Oyster Depot
Overview: Perched at the westernmost edge of the Point Reyes National Seashore, the Point Reyes Lighthouse stands as a beacon of history, adventure, and natural beauty. Built in 1870, this iconic lighthouse has guided countless ships through the foggy, treacherous waters of the Pacific Ocean.
Hours of Operation: The lighthouse is open Friday–Monday, from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Direction: 20-minute drive from Point Reyes Lighthouse.
